With nearly 40 years of experience in both military and civilian aviation maintenance, Jon Clark brings a depth of knowledge and leadership to the field of aircraft mechanic test preparation. His aviation career began in the United States Air Force and culminated in retirement from the Connecticut Air National Guard after a distinguished 20-year service. During his military tenure, he served as both an aircraft engine and airframe mechanic, eventually advancing to Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of training for his squadron. In that role, he was responsible for the training and professional development of more than 300 aircraft maintenance personnel—experience that laid the groundwork for his instructional expertise.
Transitioning into the civilian sector, Mr. Clark has held key positions including A&P mechanic, quality assurance inspector, and training manager for a Part-145 repair station. His broad technical experience and leadership skills led to his appointment as Campus Director for an FAA certified Part-147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School, where he oversaw operations and continues to ensure the delivery of high-quality education to aspiring A&P mechanics.
Beyond the classroom and hangar, Mr. Clark is passionate about mentoring future aviation professionals. He spent more than four years as a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol, where he created and led training programs for youth ages 12 to 17, instilling early aviation knowledge and discipline.
Mr. Clark has extensive experience in curriculum development and instructional design. His commitment to excellence and his ability to translate real-world aviation experience into effective test prep make him a trusted guide for those preparing to earn their FAA certifications.
